Measured markers and calculated indices are different. A measured marker is read directly from your sample. A calculated index is worked out from measured values. For example, HOMA-IR, an estimate of insulin resistance, comes from fasting glucose and insulin. It is useful, but it is not a separate test.

Neither is better for everyone. Function Health is the better fit for a broad, low-cost screen of standard lab markers twice a year. Jinfiniti is the better fit if you want cellular markers such as intracellular NAD+, Klotho and senescence markers, plus a one-to-one expert consultation and a protocol built from your results. Some people use both.

How much do Jinfiniti and Function Health cost over one year?

As of September 29, 2026, Function Health costs $365 a year for two lab visits. Imaging and some specialty tests cost extra. Jinfiniti charges per test: the Cellular Essentials Panel is $898 and the Ultimate Longevity Panel is $1,498, and each includes a free expert consultation. If you test twice in a year with Jinfiniti, you buy two tests.

Which biomarkers does Jinfiniti test that Function Health does not?

Function Health’s published test list, checked September 29, 2026, does not include intracellular NAD+, reactive oxygen metabolites (ROM), total antioxidant capacity (TAC) or cystatin C. Jinfiniti’s Cellular Essentials Panel measures all four. The Ultimate Longevity Panel adds Klotho, the senescence marker SA-β-gal, 8-OHdG (a marker of oxidative DNA damage) and the inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α.

Does Function Health include interpretation or an action plan?

Yes. Function Health’s clinicians review results and write a summary with action items, and members get personalized protocols for nutrition, fitness, supplements, sleep and stress. Some of these features are labeled beta. A provider calls if a result is critical. Jinfiniti includes a free consultation in which an expert reviews your report and recommendations with you.

Can I use Jinfiniti and Function Health together?

Yes. The two services measure different things. A common approach is to keep a broad annual screen for standard markers and add a Jinfiniti panel to measure cellular markers and follow a protocol. Share both sets of results with your clinician so one person sees the full picture.

How often can I retest with Jinfiniti and Function Health?

Function Health includes two tests a year: an annual test, then a mid-year test 3 to 6 months later. With Jinfiniti, you choose when to retest, and the timing follows the change you make. Jinfiniti suggests rechecking intracellular NAD+ about 4 weeks after you start a protocol, and Klotho or senescence markers after about 3 months. Talk with your clinician about the right schedule for you.
