Both are memberships with blood work and a plan. These four points are where they part ways.

Function Health’s $365 buys breadth: 160+ tests over two visits. Lifeforce’s monthly plan costs about five times as much a year. The extra pays mostly for clinician time, coaching and more frequent draws, not a longer test list.

Time with a clinician

Lifeforce includes a 45-minute consult after every quarterly draw. Function Health gives a clinician-written summary and protocols, and a provider calls you about critical results, but it does not list a one-to-one consult.

What the panel covers

Function Health includes thyroid antibodies, the omega-3 index, lead and mercury, cortisol and urinalysis. Lifeforce does not list these, though heavy metals is a paid add-on. Both include ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP and homocysteine.

Speed and prescriptions

Function Health’s first results arrive in about 48 hours; Lifeforce’s take 10 to 14 business days. Lifeforce can prescribe hormone therapy, GLP-1 medicines and peptides to members at extra cost. Function Health does not list prescriptions.

Does Function Health or Lifeforce test NAD+?

No. As of September 29, 2026, neither published test list includes intracellular NAD+, Klotho or senescence markers. Lifeforce sells an NMN supplement with NAD+ claims, but it does not offer an NAD+ test. Jinfiniti measures intracellular NAD+ on every core panel, and Klotho and senescence markers on the Ultimate panel.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

Function Health says its membership is HSA and FSA eligible. Lifeforce markets its plans as eligible, but its help center says most FSA plans need a letter of medical necessity through Truemed, and you must have a qualifying reason. Check with your plan in both cases.
